Avant Delray Ringing in Chapter 24

24 years old and i’m only getting better! Or busier? Not quite sure but it has been an exciting week nonetheless. Definitely praying this new chapter of my life is full of fearlessness and consistency! I spent my birthday evening with my closest friends (with Meeks in spirit) and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way! We went to Avant in Delray Beach located at 25 NE 2nd Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33444. I’m not sure what I obsessed over more the Orange Glazed Salmon or the Blue Crushed Velvet Couches!?!

I really loved the setup of the restaurant which has a combination of front patio seating, the main dining room, and a back bar room with additional seating (also aesthetically pleasing for photos). Not to mention all the artwork is from local artists and available for purchase! IMG_2040

Treat Yo Self

“Treat Yo Self”… an event curated and hosted by Tabatha Thomas (lurk her insta for drool worthy photos and witty captions @Thrifty_Tabs). Treat Yo Self was an opportunity to mingle with different creatives and artists stretching from Miami to West Palm and a chance for you to buy yourself or your beau something unique for Valentine’s Day….if you still do those sorts of things. J/K LOVE is totally in the air….or is that the Sangria talking?!

The event was amazing, seeing different groups mingle together while artists shared their purpose and passions behind their work was inspiring to say the least. Everyone who attended and signed up through Eventbrite was offered a free wonderful glass of Sangria and oooo was it G O O D!

For all my procrastinators out their (A.K.A ME) click the links below the photos to get a last minute gift or a “just because” and for those singles out there (also me) remember it’s always a good time to spoil your self!

Delray Beach Fashion Week 2018

Being that I’m a Delray native and a girl who livesssss for a fashion show I always find myself getting really excited this time of year! This time I had the pleasure of supporting & assisting a good friend and stylist in styling the models for Ramona LaRue (a Miami designer brand) for this year’s Delray Beach Fashion Week!

Setting up for Opening Evening Wear Show (2018)

All looks were designed by Arianne Brown right out of their Midtown location in Miami Beach! What’s amazing about this designer is that she takes the time to beautifully hand paint all of her prints bringing to life what it means to be a strong, powerful, and alluring woman. I was also able to capture a few other designers like Amanda Perna and Glavidia Davis from the shows and I’m extremely excited to share with you all the amazing shots!

NAKeD with Debilzan

Delray Beach is becoming quite the eclectic city, maybe even safe to say venturing from its’ original roots of “Village by the Sea”. What exactly might I mean by this? With events such as Delray Beach Fashion WeekSavor the Avenue, as well as local vendor pop-up events to name a few, the city has found themselves a good amount of publicity. I’ve had the pleasure of attending and partaking in many of these events and I want to share a bit of my experience with you! First things first is Continue reading
